FREE BOOK GIVEAWAY! SPREAD HOPE ONE BOOK AT A TIME
Updated: 4 days ago
Yesterday I kicked off my book chain with a free copy of my debut novel Held Hostage, and I plan to do it again! From now until Christmas, my followers will have the chance to win a free book. You must leave a comment on the post pinned to the top of my Facebook page to be considered for the drawing.

I don't want this book to remain on a shelf for years. It would defeat its purpose. This is a novel with a mission! It was written to help victims of abuse overcome the aftermath of trauma. My goal is for every reader to enjoy reading the book and then pass it on to someone else who is willing to do the same, with the goal of eventually being donated to an abuse center.
Each book I give will contain a letter explaining the mission (please leave a note inside explaining the pay-it-forward mission).
From My Heart to Yours is a pay-it-forward book chain built around getting my debut novel where it needs to land. Thousands of these books are needed at abuse centers. It would be too expensive for me to do this alone.
This psychological thriller was designed to offer suspenseful entertainment, but it goes beyond that. It serves as my testimony, my survival story, and a source of encouragement for the weary. This fictional narrative draws inspiration from my personal true story and incorporates real elements of abuse, including my kidnapping at the age of ten.
I'm sharing my story to serve as a beacon of hope for other survivors. There was a time when all the abuse didn't make sense to me, but now I understand that my life's story has a wonderful purpose. Will you please help me reach my goal?
Why this book chain matters
A gripping story can open a door to healing, forgiveness, and recovery. It can remind someone that another life is possible. People from broken homes need to be reminded they are not alone.
The My Heart to Yours Book Chain doesn't end with one reader. The story keeps traveling. Each person becomes a link in a chain of compassion and recovery.

Paying it Forward
Buy a copy of Held Hostage and read it.*
Give it to someone who understands the purpose.
Choose a person who will respect the book’s journey and keep it moving.
Ask them to do the same.
Each reader passes it on to another caring person.
Leave the note in the book and ask the next person to keep the chain going, with the understanding that it needs to end at a women’s abuse center.
The goal is for the book to reach a place where women seeking support or healing have access to it.
That note turns the book into more than a personal recommendation. It gives the next reader a role. We all have a mission to support one another. Let's get these books into the hands of the people who need them most. Don't abort the mission by ignoring this message. If you can't buy the book, at least share it on social media so that others will know about it.

When the book reaches an abuse center
Before dropping off a book, it may be best to contact the center and ask whether they accept book donations. I don't want anyone to waste their time. Some centers have to approve a book beforehand.
My story is a gift from my heart to yours. The book houses that gift. Give the gift and touch a heart today. Thank you for being part of something big and beautiful!
